Mungo Jerry - In The Summertime

Hoje no Na Escuta enfrento um problema real, eu não conheço Mungo Jerry…

Lembro que a muito tempo atrás de ouvir uma música Summertime… mas isso foi antes de eu saber inglês, antes de internet saber mais de música que um rádio e, para completo fiasco, não lembro de nome de nada… eu ACHO que se chama Summertime.

Não é a da Janes Joplin… muito menos a versão da Norah Jones… que é tudo da Ella Fitzgerald na verdade… Bom, era muita gente cantando, talvez uma versão caseira de alguma música que nunca havia escutado antes.

Ah, esqueci, é uma voz masculina… desconheço mesmo… em minha breve e eficaz procura caí no vídeo abaixo de Mungo Jerry cantando In The Summertime… é sério… ainda bem que não havia MTV na década de 70… cara… tem um nego ali que além de tocar BANJO assopra uma garrafa!!!

E o louco ainda sou eu… pelo menos agora sei o que o cara canta…
