Supergroup: No final da década de 1960, o termo recebeu a definição de “um grupo musical onde seus músicos já são conhecidos individualmente ou em grupo“… em bom (ou não) e velho português, “quando gente foda se encontra para fazer algo foda, e fica muito foda“. Quando John Paul Jones (ahem… Led Zeppelin mermão), Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters e Nirvana… meh) e Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age) se unem não é o Capitão Planeta que aparece… Them Crooked Vultures é um supergroup invejável demais…

Quer dizer, só de ter John Paul Jones na banda já seria SUPER… Dave Grohl é um cara que respeito por ter usado trancinhas na época de Nirvana. Josh Homme é o cara que a gente nunca sabe com qual banda ele tá atuando, além de Them Crooked Vultures e Queens of the Stone Age é fácil vê-lo com Jesse Hughes do Eagles Of Death Metal… Tem até “mini show” com o Dave Grohl (rasguem-se Lú e Mayrão).

O grupo não toca tão frequentemente o quanto nós, pobres brasileiros, gostaríamos… não fazem nenhuma apresentação pública desde 2010, e como estamos com sorte chance de virem ao Brasil é ser zero, ou então o ingresso vai custar o valor da viagem para algum destino no globo que eles fariam o show… e zaz… Aparentemente eles ainda estão tentando gravar o segundo álbum. Algum deus do rock podia ajudar nessa hein?
